Starting from Kathmandu, the tour begins early in the morning with a short ride to Tribhuvan International Airport. From there, you’ll take off in a helicopter with your guide and fellow travelers. A quick stop at Lukla for refueling precedes the journey higher into the Himalayas. Flying over Namche Bazaar, you’ll head east towards Gokyo Lakes and Ngozumpa Glacier before reaching Everest Base Camp.
Upon landing at Everest Base Camp, you’ll have time to soak in the local atmosphere, capture photos, and marvel at the breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse (8,414m), Nuptse (7,861m), Pumo Ri (7,165m), and the Khumbu Icefalls. Then, you’ll descend to Syangboche village for breakfast. Here, you can enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the awe-inspiring scenery of Mount Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,414m), Ama Dablam (6,856m), Thamserku (6,608 m), and Nuptse (7,861m).
