Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)
Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), one of our friendly company representatives will be there to greet you. They will escort you to your hotel where you can unwind and freshen up after your journey. Later, you’ll join us for a trek briefing conducted by our team members. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
Discover the renowned UNESCO World Heritage sites of the Kathmandu Valley, such as the iconic Swyambhunath, famously known as the Monkey Temple, the sacred Pashupatinath, and the majestic Boudhanath. Immerse yourself in the rich architectural heritage of these ancient structures and explore the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square. Day 03: Drive to Pokhara (820m) 6-7 Hrs
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we’ll begin our journey towards the picturesque city of Pokhara, located approximately 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. The road trip will take us along the scenic Prithivi Highway, offering breathtaking views of the majestic Trishuli River, lush forested hills, and vibrant towns along the way. As we wind through the serpentine roads of Nepal, we’ll be treated to stunning vistas at every turn. Upon reaching Pokhara, we’ll be greeted by the awe-inspiring sights of towering peaks such as Machhapuchhre (6997m), Annapurna, and Lamjung Himal. We’ll settle in for a comfortable overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Siwai via Nayapul |3 Hrs and trek to Chomrung (2170m)
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic ride from Pokhara to Nayapul aboard a private vehicle. Nayapul serves as the starting point for our adventure and the gateway to the Annapurna Conservation Area. Upon arrival, we’ll take a short break before hopping on a jeep for an off-road journey to Siwai. From there, our trek begins with a steady uphill hike to Chomrung. This charming village retains its ethnic charm, offering glimpses into the traditional lifestyle and culture of the region. As we ascend, we’ll be treated to breathtaking views of towering peaks such as Annapurna South (7200m), Annapurna III (7555m), and Machhapuchhre (6997m). We’ll conclude our day with a relaxing overnight stay in Chomrung.

Day 05: Trek to Himalaya (2920m)
After a hearty breakfast in Chomrung, we’ll kick off our day early to catch the mesmerizing sunrise illuminating the Annapurna range. As we begin our trek, we’ll descend along beautifully crafted stone steps, soaking in the serene surroundings. Crossing gentle streams via quaint wooden bridges, our journey continues through a picturesque bamboo forest en route to Himalaya Hotel. Here, amidst the tranquil ambiance, we’ll settle in for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 06: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)
Embark on a full day of trekking starting with a climb to Hinku Cave, an exhilarating experience as you peer over a cliff to behold the towering Himalayas right before your eyes. Continuing onward, we’ll journey to Deurali, then gently ascend through a riverbed and navigate steep trails along the mountainside before reaching the revered Machhapuchhre Base Camp, nestled at the foot of the majestic Fishtail peak (6,997m). Here, we’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views of Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, and Gangapurna, offering a breathtaking 360-degree panorama. Trekking along the base of these colossal mountains for a few more hours, we’ll finally arrive at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), where we’ll spend the night surrounded by the stunning Himalayan landscape.

Day 07: Trek to Bamboo (2310m)
In the early morning, we’ll be greeted by spectacular views of the Himalayas as the sunrise paints the peaks with its golden hues. After enjoying breakfast amidst the breathtaking scenery at Annapurna Base Camp, we’ll prepare to trek back to Bamboo. Since today’s trek is mostly downhill, it should be relatively easier compared to previous days. We’ll spend the night at Bamboo, surrounded by the tranquil ambiance of the forest.

Day 08: Trek to Jhinu Danda/Hot Spring (1780m)
After breakfast, we’ll gear up for our trek to Jhinu Danda. The first leg of our journey involves an uphill trek to Sinuwa, followed by a downhill stretch to Chomrung Khola. Crossing the bridge at Chomrung Khola, we’ll then ascend a stone staircase for nearly an hour to reach Chomrung village. The final part of our trail is a steep descent to Jhinu Danda. Once we arrive, we’ll have the chance to unwind with a soothing natural hot spring bath, just a short 20-minute walk downhill from Jhinu Danda. We’ll spend the night at Jhinu Danda, rejuvenated by the therapeutic waters.

Day 09: Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara (820m)
As we embark on our final day of trekking, we’ll soak in the breathtaking hill landscapes of western Nepal, offering mesmerizing views of Annapurna South and the iconic Fishtail peak. Our journey concludes as we reach Nayapul, marking the end of our trekking adventure. From there, we’ll hop into a car or van for a comfortable ride back to Pokhara. Once in Pokhara, we’ll settle in for the night, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of our trek.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu and Farewell Dinner
After an early start, we embark on a scenic drive back to Kathmandu via the picturesque Prithivi Highway. Along the way, we’ll be treated to stunning views of rolling hills and rushing rivers, providing the perfect backdrop for our journey home. In the evening, we come together for a special farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of our trek. It’s a time to reminisce about our adventures and bond over shared experiences. We then retire to our hotel in Kathmandu for a well-deserved rest.

As your time in Nepal draws to a close, our representative will ensure you reach the airport in good time for your departure, typically around 3 hours before your scheduled flight. They’ll assist with any last-minute arrangements and bid you farewell, ensuring a smooth conclusion to your memorable journey. Safe travels, and we hope to welcome you back to Nepal again soon!

What are the physical requirements?
Annapurna Basecamp Trek requires you to trek at an altitude of maximum 4130m and up to 5- 7 hours per day, with a small 5-7kg bag. We recommended you to train with long hikes and/or a sport of your choice (e.g. jogging).

What are the visa requirements?
Currently, all the foreign nationalities (except Indians) require a visa to enter Nepal. Visas are obtainable from embassies abroad or on arrival at Kathmandu’s Airport. If getting the visa at the airport be prepared for long queues. You will also need to provide one passport photo and the $50 USD fee for 30 days.

Do I need insurance before the Trek?
Yes, you need to be insured before the adventure trekking in Nepal from your home country. However, we will be always with you taking care of throughout the whole Annapurna Basecamp trek.

How old do I need to be?
There is no age restriction for doing this trip, but if you are under 16 it will better to trek with your parents. You must be health-conscious during the trek.

Is there any Bank or ATM facility during Annapurna Basecamp Trek?
Yes, there is a good facility of bank and ATM in Pokhara and Nayapul.

What currency should I take?
The currency used in Nepal is Nepalese Rupees (NPR). You are unable to get NPR outside of Nepal and therefore you will need to exchange money in Kathmandu. The easiest currency to exchange is USD and Euro. You can also withdraw NPR from the ATM but check with your bank about the relevant charges to do this.

What is the accommodation like?
You will stay in the Hotel while you are in the city of Kathmandu, which is like a 3-star category. The hotel has access to showers and intermittent internet.
But while you are in trekking Tea House/lodges are the place where you spend the night during the trek, which is very basic. The room is pretty small with twin sharing and a common washroom. Some places have squat style toilets, whilst others have a western style. Shower does not always offer warm water and most teahouses will charge you for use of a hot shower.

What kind of problems can arise at a higher altitude?
There is a huge change of AMS problem i.e. Acute Mountain Sickness problem. It may cause some problems as you trek higher above 3500-meter altitude (11,482 ft.). But don’t worry about that. We have carefully designed our Annapurna Basecamp trek itinerary with sufficient time for acclimatization and less walking time each day. And our experienced trek guide will be helping you with it.

What is the best time of year for Annapurna Basecamp Trek?
Annapurna Basecamp Trek is possible for the whole year, but the best time to doing this trek is spring season (March to May) and autumn season (September to November).
However trekking in winter season to chance to see snowfall with magnificent views of mountain, and in monsoon time you will see waterfalls.

Which meals are included?
Meals will be served as per the menu of the teahouse/lodges. Where you can find a variety of dishes like Indian, Nepalese, Tibetan, Continental, etc, to choose. Tea, coffee, bakery items, snacks, bars eggs, etc can also be found easily.
