Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m)
Upon landing at Tribhuban International Airport (TIA), you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly representatives who will escort you to your accommodation. Take some time to unwind and rejuvenate at the hotel. Afterwards, join us for an informative trek briefing conducted by our experienced team members. Spend the night at the hotel in Kathmandu, gearing up for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Restricted Area Permit procedure
Begin your day with a trip to Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you’ll soak in the rich cultural heritage of Nepal. Next, visit the sacred Pashupatinath temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, revered by Hindu devotees from Nepal and India alike. Conclude your tour with a visit to the iconic Boudhanath Stupa, a significant Buddhist site.
Before embarking on the off-the-beaten-path Manaslu Circuit trek, ensure you obtain the necessary trekking permit. Since this trek takes you through restricted regions, having a permit is essential. Please note that solo trekking is not allowed; you must trek in a group of at least two members. After a day filled with exploration, spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat Bazaar (608m) by private vehicle and trek to Soti Khola (700m) | 5-6 hrs drive, 2-3 hrs trek
We begin our trip by driving to a place called Arughat. The journey takes us through Local bazaar and Dhading Besi, which is a usual road trip alongside valleys and the Trishuli River. However, the road from Dhading Besi to Arughat can be quite bumpy, especially during the rainy season.
Once we start the trek, we’ll hike to a spot called Sotikhola. It’s a relatively easy start, so we’ll walk past low-lying valleys and fields with stepped terraces until we reach Soti Khola. We’ll spend the night there before continuing our journey.

Day 04: Trek from Soti Khola to Machha Khola (869m) | 6-7 Hrs

Day 05: Trek from Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m) | 5-6 Hrs
Traveling upstream along the river, you’ll come across a suspension bridge over Thado Khola. Beyond that lies the village of Khorlabesi. After a bit more trekking, you’ll reach Tatopani. Then, you’ll climb along the western side of Budhi Gandaki until you reach the village of Jagat. Throughout the journey, you’ll pass by tidy Gurung villages, showcasing the charming beauty of this community. You’ll spend the night in Jagat.

Day 06: Trek from Jagat to Deng (1860m) | 6-7 Hrs.
Today’s trek follows the trail along the expansive Budhi Gandaki river, lined with stone-paved steps along the western bank. Along the way, you’ll make stops at Sirdibas and then Salleri. The scenery includes breathtaking views of Shringi Himal towering at 7161 meters and the picturesque valley. Passing through terraced crop fields in Ekle Bhatti, you’ll cross the Budhi Gandaki river a couple of times and traverse through a tranquil bamboo forest before reaching Deng. You’ll spend the night in Deng.

Day 07: Trek from Deng to Namrung (2630m) | 6-7 Hrs
Begin the day with a scenic hike along a picturesque trail. After a short ascent to the top of a ridge, you’ll descend alongside the tranquil Budhi Gandaki River. Along the way, you’ll encounter the trail from Bihi, and as you continue, the valley scenery unfolds before you, dotted with charming pocket settlements. Take in the rich influence of Tibetan culture as you pass by Mani walls adorned with ancient inscriptions. Moving through a narrow gorge and navigating a steep climb, you’ll eventually arrive at Namrung, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 08: Trek from Namrung to Sama Gaon (3520m) | 6-7 Hrs
Today, the day begins with awe-inspiring views of Shringi (7161m), Ganesh Himal (7422m), and Himal Chuli (7863m) as you embark on a gentle ascent. Passing through the village of Lho, characterized by its strong Tibetan atmosphere, you’ll be treated to panoramic vistas of Manaslu. Continuing onwards, you’ll encounter Sho and Shyala villages, adorned with numerous stupas and the Ribung Gompa, adding to the cultural richness of the journey. Finally, you’ll reach Samagaon, where you’ll spend the night, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Himalayas.

Day 09: Hike to Manaslu Base Camp (4400m) | 6-7 Hrs
Wake up to a beautiful sight of Mount Manaslu, a huge snowy mountain reaching 8163 meters high. It’s so close you feel like you can almost touch it. It’s a really touching and inspiring moment. We then go on a hike to Manaslu Base Camp, which is at 4400 meters high. During the hike, we get to see the area around the camp and learn about Sherpa culture. We’ll also explore the Manaslu glacier and icefall, and enjoy amazing views of Ngadi Chuli, Simnang Himal, and Pang Phu Chuli ranges. After that, we’ll head back to Samagaon, passing by the Pung Gyen Gompa. We’ll stay overnight in Samagaon.

Day 10: Trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo (3875m) | 5-6 Hrs
As we wake up to the breathtaking mountain range, our trek for the day begins with a walk downhill towards the Budhi Gandaki River. Along the way, we’ll have to cross the river a few times and pass through an area called Kermo Kharka. We’ll stroll through a lovely stretch of birch and juniper trees until we reach the banks of the Budhi Gandaki River. Here, we’ll cross over a sturdy wooden bridge. After that, the trail takes us up the valley until we reach Samdo. We’ll spend the night there.

Day 11: Trek from Samdo to Dharmasala (4460m) | 5-6 Hrs
From Samdo, our journey to Dharmasala follows a paved path, although it can be a bit rough at times. We’ll be walking alongside the Budhi Gandaki River, which offers stunning views of majestic mountains in the background. Along the way, we’ll cross the river and make our way to Larkya Bazaar. After crossing another stream, we’ll reach Larkya Bazaar. From there, the trail takes us up along the ridge of Larkya Khola, where we’ll get a glimpse of the Larkya Glacier. Finally, we’ll arrive at Dharmasala, where we’ll spend the night in a cozy shelter by the riverside.

Day 12: Trek from Dharmasala to Bimthang (3590m) via Larkya La Pass (5160m) | 7-8 Hrs
Today is a special day as we embark on a hike to reach the breathtaking Larkya La Pass, standing tall at 5160 meters. We start with a short walk that leads us to a valley offering stunning views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak, which reaches an impressive 6249 meters. As we begin our ascent towards the Larkya Pass, the scenery becomes even more magnificent. From atop the pass, we’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views of Annapurna II, towering at 7937 meters, as well as Himlung at 7126 meters and Cheo Himal at 6820 meters. After taking in the beauty of the surroundings, we’ll make a steep descent along a slippery moraine. Eventually, we’ll arrive at a quiet valley adorned with Mani walls before reaching our destination for the night, Bimthang. We’ll rest and rejuvenate for the night in Bimthang.

Day 13: Trek from Bimthang to Tilije (2300m) | 5-6 Hrs
We start the day by trekking down from Bimthang until we reach a stream. We cross the stream using a sturdy wooden bridge and continue walking downwards. Along the way, we’ll see lots of plants and trees, like pine and alpine forests, which make the surroundings really beautiful. We’ll also catch glimpses of Mount Manaslu, which is an impressive 8163 meters tall, making our trek even more special. Eventually, we’ll arrive at a place called Kharche. Then, we’ll face a steep climb before making our way down to Tilije, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 14: Trek from Tilije to Tal (1700m) | 5-6 Hrs
Today begins with a hike up a ridge on a path paved with stones. We’ll come across Thonje village next, where we’ll walk through a beautiful stone arch surrounded by stone walls called Mani walls. After passing through the village, we’ll stop for our permits to be checked and updated by security personnel. Then, we’ll continue along the trail to Dharapani, which is part of the Annapurna Circuit. We’ll cross a river using a bridge and walk alongside more Mani walls before reaching our destination for the night, Tal. We’ll rest and spend the night in Tal.

Day 15: Trek from Tal to Syange (1150m) | 5-6 Hrs
We continue our journey down the valley towards Syange. Our first stop is the Chyamche Village, which sits on the other side of the Marsayangdi River. We’ll cross over a suspension bridge to reach Chyamche. From there, we’ll descend further along a lovely trail surrounded by rhododendron trees, creating a picturesque atmosphere. Finally, we’ll arrive at Syange village, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 16: Drive from Syange to Kathmandu by private vehicle (1300m) | 6-7 hrs drive
On the last day of our journey in the Manaslu region, we’ll hop on a private jeep in Syange to head back to Kathmandu. The drive will take us through Besisahar and Mugling, following a winding road along the Trishuli and Marsayangdi rivers. Once we reach Kathmandu, you’ll have the option to relax and freshen up at the hotel or explore the nearby areas. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 17: Departure from Kathmandu

What are the visa requirements?
Currently, all the foreign nationalities (except Indians) require a visa to enter Nepal. Visas are obtainable from embassies abroad or on arrival at Kathmandu’s Airport. If getting the visa at the airport be prepared for long queues. You will also need to provide one passport photo and the $50 USD fee for 30 days.

Is there any bank or ATM facility during Manaslu Circuit Trek?
No, there is no any facility of ATM during Manaslu circuit trek so we recommend trekkres to carry sufficient Nepali currency. You can easily access ATM service in Kathmandu.

How old do I need to be?
There is no age restriction for doing this trip, but if you are under 16 it will better to trek with your parents. You must be health-conscious during the trek.

What is the accommodation like?
You will stay in the Hotel while you are in the city of Kathmandu, which is like a 3-star category. The hotel has access to showers and intermittent internet.
But while you are in trekking Tea House/lodges are the place where you spend the night during the trek, which is very basic. The room is pretty small with twin sharing and a common washroom. Some places have squat style toilets, whilst others have a western style. Shower does not always offer warm water and most teahouses will charge you for use of a hot shower.

Which meals are included?
Meals will be served as per the menu of the teahouse/lodges. Where you can find a variety of dishes like Indian, Nepalese, Tibetan, Continental, etc, to choose. Tea, coffee, bakery items, snacks, bars eggs, etc can also be found easily.

What currency should I take?
The currency used in Nepal is Nepalese Rupees (NPR). You are unable to get NPR outside of Nepal and therefore you will need to exchange money in Kathmandu. The easiest currency to exchange is USD and Euro. You can also withdraw NPR from the ATM but check with your bank about the relevant charges to do this.

What kind of problems can arise at a higher altitude during Manaslu Circuit Trek?
There is huge change of AMS problem i.e. Acute Mountain Sickness problem. It may cause some problem as you trek higher above 3500 meter altitude (11,482 ft.). But don’t worry about that. We have carefully designed our Manaslu Circuit trek itinerary with sufficient time for acclimatization and less walking time each day. And our experienced trek guide will be helping you with it.

What is the best time of year for Manaslu Circuit Trek?
Manaslu Circuit Trek is possible for whole year, but the best time to doing this trek is spring season (March to may) and autumn Season (September to November).
However trekking in winter season to chance to see snowfall with magnificent views of mountain, and in monsoon time you will see waterfalls.
