  • Day 01: Full Day Plan

    Drive from Thamel to Nagarjun (Phulbari Gate):

    After having breakfast at the hotel, you’ll meet our nature guide and hop into a private vehicle to head to Nagarjun. It’s only about 7.5 km away from the valley, and the drive takes around 20 minutes. As you leave the busy city behind, you’ll enter a winding highway that leads to Nagarjun.

    Start walking from Phulbari Gate to Jamacho Hill and back to Phulbari Gate in the evening:

    Once you arrive at Phulbari Gate, you’ll get your permit for the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park and start your hike with the guide. The trail takes you through a lush forest, caves, and religious sites. You’ll spot plenty of birds along the way, and their songs will guide you up the hill. You’ll also get to see the wildlife and explore the beautiful plants and animals of the area. When you reach the top, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Ganesh and Dorje Lakpa mountains, as well as parts of the Langtang and Annapurna ranges. After soaking in the scenery, you’ll visit Jamacho Monastery for a spiritual experience before heading back to Phulbari Gate.

    Drive back to Thamel:
